About Us
A Dream We Never Expected
Never in our wildest dreams did we imagine owning a wedding barn!
In 2012, we purchased the property with the intent of growing corn and soybeans on the farmland. For years, the barn was only used once—as shelter for a team of horses when we had some logging done in our woods.
Then in 2015, a local farming committee asked if we would host a field day and had a building available. We agreed, built a stairway to access the barn’s upper level, and hosted the event. Word quickly spread about this large event space and soon we started receiving wedding inquiries.
In April 2016, we hosted our first wedding reception, and since then, we’ve been fortunate to grow our family-owned business. This August, we will celebrate our 200th wedding!

Planning a wedding can be overwhelming and we are here to make it easier. We stay in close contact throughout the planning process, help with set-up, and are present during rehearsal (and can lead the practice), the ceremony, and the reception. Every wedding is unique, and we love welcoming couples into our wedding family!

Family, Community & Gratitude
Family is at the heart of everything we do. We are blessed with two wonderful children who bring joy to our lives and can often be found helping at weddings. Being part of the Stevens Point community has been an incredible experience, and we are grateful for the support of the couples, families, and vendors who have trusted us over the years.
Each wedding we host is more than just an event—it’s an opportunity to create lasting memories and welcome new couples into our extended wedding family. Whether you're searching for the perfect wedding venue or want to learn more about our farm, we would love to connect with you.
Our Passion for Agriculture & Conservation
Beyond weddings, farming is at the heart of what we do. We actively crop farm and custom harvest alfalfa and corn silage for other farms in the area. Our commitment to conservation is reflected in our native prairie gardens, sustainable farming practices, and educational outreach. We are passionate about connecting people to agriculture, which is why we host youth field trips and conservation classroom experiences in partnership with the Farmers of Millcreek Watershed.
As one of the few wedding barns that still operates as a working farm, we are proud to share our love for the land. In recognition of our conservation efforts, we were honored to receive the Wisconsin Leopold Conservation Award (2020) and the Portage County Business Council Entrepreneur of the Year Award (2021). These achievements reflect our dedication to preserving the land for future generations while providing a beautiful venue for couples to celebrate their special moments.
